Life Hack - Rotisserie Chickens

It's Tuesday early evening. You left work a little bit late so you are already closing in on dinner time and after the day you've had, the last thing you want to do is go home and cook. You've been trying to eat cleaner lately so you start rationalizing how "good" you've been and that one evening of fast food isn't a big deal. Which, probably, quite true. BUT, you know how I know it's not a good idea? That you feel bad about it and are trying to rationalize it away. Food should always be guilt free so if you know you are going to regret eating it... then I have a solution for you... DON'T!

Easier said than done I KNOW but having a plan is the most effective way to avoid pitfalls. SO here is one alternative plan that you can use when you are just OVER it.

Almost all main grocery stores now have pre-cooked rotisserie chickens. This is a great (and DELICIOUS) alternative to fast food but it is JUST as fast. For sides you can either hit the deli and pick up some salad or some veggies, or just cruise over to the produce department and pick up your own veggies. At most you'll spend 15 minutes fixing up your side dishes and you'll feel good about how you are choosing to fuel your body.

Another reason why this is a great life hack is because you are almost guaranteed to have leftovers --- so pack 'em up and you've got a healthy lunch for the next day!

So there you have it- a good alternative meal when fast food seems inevitable. Don't let a busy schedule throw you off track.
